Delta airlines ruined my vacation lost baggage for over 5 days
Delta airlines lost my bags and repeatedly lied to me about where the bags are and lied about representitve information, without any identifying information for accountability. While traveling to Spain, I was transfered to another dc airport and told my bags were on their way to Barcelona and would 100% be there when I arrived. However, upon arrival I was told my bags were on my Airfrance flight. Two days later, along with multiple phones calls with both Delta and Airfrance representatives, I have learned that my bags are still in Atlanta. Upon hearing this, I was further told by a Delta representative that my bags were currently being loaded on the next flight to Barcelona. However, this information was again a direct lie imparted by a Delta representative. Subsequent conversations have shown that my bags were in fact not on that flight. I am still hoping that they arrive on Tuesday, five days after I originally checked them with Delta airlines. To date, it is my understanding that only one of the eight people with whom I have spoke have given me truthful information.
