ridiculous reasoning

this is about the only Toyota dealership in Guwahati, GARGYA TOYOTA.just today 15-10-09 i went for the 30000km service in the said center.i was given a bill of rs 3796 for which i submitted rs 4000. waiting for the change to be returned to me,i was stunned by the response of the accounts clerk that it was the policy of the dealership to keep the bill in round figures and not to tender any change in the most rude manner.is this what a world class company has come to,has the recession hit it so bad that now they are forced to collect revenue like street urchins or pickpockets.the worst part is that on insisting to talk to the managerial staff,one gentleman came up to me with the lame explanation that this is done for the the dealerships convenience.
