Services regarding Astar fuel tank

| I am Dr. Alok Kumar Chakraborty, owner of a Maruti A star numbering WB20U 0828.I visited Dewar's garage at British India street, Kolkata yesterday (10/3/2010) for changing the gasket "O" ring of the fuel tank. When I entered the garage, my oil tank meter showed 5 marks. After the said repair, the oil meter showed only 2 marks which I discovered once I was outside the garage. During repair work, my driver who was standing near the car was asked to wait in the rest room. My question is can this amount of oil be spilled during the process ?
