New handset battery defective (SCH-F699 MPOWER purchased on 07.07.2010)

| The Samsung handset SCH-F699 MPOWER purchased for Rs. 7135.00 on 07.07.2010 (Invoice no.1800562943 dtd 07.07.2010) from Reliance World, 19C Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata 700020, is DEFECTIVE. After full charge of the battery, the charge lasts only for a maximum of 8-10 hours on talk time of just 15-20 minutes during the day. I have used several mobiles and the battery needed charging after 40-48 hours. It is suprising that such a good company providing excellent models of handsets have such defects which could not overlooked for it is not possible to roam around with a charger all the time to charge the battery every few hours. Could this complaint be overcome by replacing another new handset of the same model, with proper charging status of the battery.Please respond at the earliest to my email id.send2jayshree@yahoo.com.
