Disconnection of Airtel Prepaid

I have been using my prepaid mobile number 9740850584 from 2009 onwards. Since I was out of station for about 4 months (within India), there was very minimal usage of this number.
However, I came back to Blr on 1st Dec and started using this no. Given the usage on 1st Dec, I also re-charged it for Rs.444 via Net Banking and kept using it until 9th Dec 2011.
As of 9th Dec 2011 morning, I had a net balance of Rs.384 on my number and validity until Oct 2012.
From the morning of 10th Dec 2011, the number was suddenly disconnected without any intimation.
I have called the customer care services at 121 & 198, have also visited the Bannerghata Rd airtel office, called up the nodal office but without any help or resolution.
I am putting my complaint here after getting this kind of poor service from the airtel officials for 12 days now. Although I have been promised to get a "resolution in the next 48 hours" multiple times, every time I called them, I have not received a resolution nor any call-back from them.
It is to my dismay that even the nodal officers replicate this kind of service and no one wants to take stock of the Rs.384 balance that I had in my prepaid connection.
Any suggestions who can help/ assist in getting this resolved? |
